On an overcast but humid day Harrow won the toss and elected to bat. Aryan and Viraj opened the bowling and an early breakthrough was made with Aryan bowling the dangerous opener. Harrow made steady progress until James made an important breakthrough with a smartly taken catch off his own bowling.
From this ball on Ealing dominated. James ended up with 5 wickets and was well supported in the bowling by Joe, Shubh (2 wickets) and Pawan (2 wickets). Backed up by excellent fielding, including 2 stumpings and 3 catches, Harrow’s innings never got going and they were all out for 95 in the 29th over.
This meant that Ealing had 51 overs to get the runs. Robbie and Andre opened. Runs came freely and although Andre got out Ned came in and kept the momentum going. The target was achieved in 14.1 overs with Robbie smacking 52 and Ned stroking 36 runs.
