Perivale vs Ealing U10s Gubby Allen Cup

An outstanding all round team performance saw the U10s beat Perivale by the considerable margin of 151 runs.

Choosing to bowl first, Ealing managed to take a staggering 16 wickets, including 2 in 2 balls for Shivan and 2 wickets without conceding a single run for Jack M. Adi (2), Rian (1), Luke (1), Issac (1) and Harry (3) also contributed to the wickets and some excellent work in the field, combined with tidy wicketkeeping by Chico, accounted for the rest in run outs.

An opening partnership of 51 by Adi (37) and Isaac (7) got Ealing off to a flying start. Adi was in particularly good form, hitting 7 fours and one massive 6 from his 4 overs. Rian (10) and Shivan (10) continued the good work with Rian hitting 3 consecutive 4s including a lovely flick round the corner on the leg side. Man of the match Harry hit an unbeaten 21 (including 5 fours) to go with his earlier 3 wickets with excellent support and running from Luke (3), who scarcely saw the strike! Jack (14) and Chico (9) finished the match off in style with another couple of boundaries.

All in all, an excellent all round performance which leaves the U10s still unbeaten in the Gubby group stages with just one match to play.
