On a rather damp morning in Hanwell, Ealing U10s maintained their 100% record in the cup so far this season with another good win. Wembley won the toss and elected to bat first. Early wickets from Adi and Shivan pegged the batting side back, and the strength of the bowling performance right down the order impressed today, with only some over-enthusiastic overthrows and a few extras giving minor cause for concern. Luke put in one of his best performances this season. Ludo and Rian both returned excellent figures of 3 wickets for 4 runs, with Ludo's double wicket maiden over a highlight.
With just 220 to chase, Adi and Isaac quickly set about overhauling the total, making 40 runs between them. Adi's five fours were great to watch. With the focus then on not losing a wicket, the remaining pairs batted consistently well, with everybody contributing good totals for a final score of 304.
