Winning the toss and with captain Jack choosing to field first, Ealing initially had a slightly rocky start. A very short boundary, and a few fours and extras gave South Hampstead some encouragement as they put on some early runs. However some disciplined bowling, and a couple of wickets from Adi and Shivan, steadied the ship and South Hampstead were restricted to 264.
Having seen the potential to score fours on the pitch, the opening partnership of Adi and Jack quickly put on 45, followed by 35 from Isaac and Ludo, and we steered our way to a very good score of 327.
