Potters Bar vs Ealing U11 - County Cup Quarter Final

Having won the South area cup, we braved a Friday night trip round the north circular to play Potters Bar, the East area winners. On a pleasant evening and decent wicket, we were put into bat first. Potters Bar had some strong bowlers but the opening partnership of Adi (32) and Isaac (45) made a great start, followed by Jack A (21), setting them a challenging total of 163 to win.

Continuing his man of the match performance, Isaac took the early wicket of their opener and bowled beautifully. However the Potters Bar number 3 looked strong and starting hitting a few boundaries before Shivan put in a great spell to claim 2 wickets, with excellent catches from Adi and Jack M. With Ted putting in another very good bowling performance and TK taking a further 3 wickets, we bowled them out for 94 to move into the semi finals in a few weeks time.
