We finally got a game of cricket after the rain we had in the previous weeks. Shepherd Bush invited Ealing to their ground to play a league game on the non turf wicket. Ealing won the toss and elected to bat. The openers, Mueez and Aadvik put on a steady partnership until in the 9th over when Mueez was bowled when the score was 36. Mueez was replaced by another left hander Easa who provided a quick 27 runs off 18 balls , hitting four boundaries. Just as Ealing began to get on top of the bowlers there was a mix up with the running which saw Aadvik run out. Unfortunately, there was another mix up when Easa was run out. The remaining batsmen increased the runs to a total score of 108.
The total looked like below par on the artificial wicket which provided no assistance to bowlers, but the Ealing bowlers bowled well restricting Shepherds Bush to 85. Sai was the pick of the bowlers picking up 3 wickets and deserved to be MAN OF THE MATCH.
