This was the glamour tie for the U13B's. It is the match where they get to take on their friends from the same net session. The game when they get to find out whether, when Robbie Connelly says he's hit you for four in the nets, it would actually have been a four. Well, unfortunately for the B's, the answer was a resounding `yes, it would'. Robbie and his equally impressive opening partner Ludo knocked off the required 111 runs to win with more than 7 overs to spare. Nevertheless there was much to take from the game for B's. The total of 110 showed promise. A year's development will turn some of the dots into ones and some of the ones to twos and maybe a few fours. The bowling too can only benefit from facing batsmen of this high calibre. In this department a special mention must be made again to Harjot who produced the team's best figures for the second week running with his three overs costing only 10 runs. Outstanding, and he’s an U11 too! I look forward to seeing the current U13B’s facing Harjot in the corresponding fixture next year.
