......... and to add extra excitement you have until 8pm on Thursday 5th Feb to enter this year’s Six Nations Forecast Competition.

As always there is a sheet behind the bar so you can complete that next time you visit the clubhouse.

• The entry fee is £5 which can be paid by cash or card at the bar.
• Entry sheet is available at the bar: only one entry per member permitted.
• Last date for entry – Thursday 5th February by 8pm.

The winner will receive 75% of the total competition takings, with the runner-up receiving 25%.

• 3 points for a correct forecast plus a bonus point if the margin of win is correct (you must have the correct winner to get this!).
• 6 points if you correctly forecast a draw!
• In the event of persons finishing level on points, the person with the greater number of correct match forecasts will be placed higher.

Club LEAGUE TABLES will be updated after every weekend of the competition and will be displayed on the club notice board.

The 2025 competition resulted in a three-way tie with Barney Morris, Sheila Dixon and Dominic Morrey each receiving £86.66.

DON'T FORGET TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOUR '2 for 1' drinks deal during January, February and March.

Each paid-up member can put £25 on their membership card during this period and will be gifted an additional £25 credit by the Club. This is limited to one 'top up' per member during the 3-month offer period and the £50 credit must be spent by 31st March 2026.
