Online sessions continuing to run in place of scheduled sessions at Ada Lovelace School

We have today provided all parents whose children are signed up for our Winter Training activities with an update on where things stand.

Due to the lockdown introduced two weeks ago, we have had to suspend the training sessions at Ada Lovelace School. We are hoping these will resume on 4/5/6/7 December.

There is a risk that the lockdown will be extended or that whatever activities are allowed, once the lockdown is over, may restrict what we were previously able to do in October. Hopefully, the picture re this will become clearer shortly.

In the meantime, we are running online activities which have been generally well attended and the feedback received from those who have participated has, on the whole, been very positive - on a scale of 1 to 5 (where 5 is excellent), the average score has been 4. We hope that those who are yet to participate in the online sessions will try them out and see if they agree with the people we have heard from so far. The online sessions run at the same time as the previously scheduled sessions at Ada Lovelace School.

We want to repeat what we have already said, i.e. once we are clearer about what we are able to do and for how long we will be disrupted, we will address the issue of refunds/credits against future sessions in respect of any cancelled sessions. We will also hopefully be able to provide details of the activities planned in the New Year.

Kind regards

Chad Barrett and James Grigg.
