On Saturday 18th Nov 2023, the Ealing CC Ladies hosted the Ladies Cap Presentation at Corfton Road. Continuing the tradition of Ealing’s Men’s 1st XI, ladies’ players who have debuted for the 1st XI were presented with their very own Ealing baggy caps.

A number of former and current ladies’ players were in attendance, and Bob Fisher, ECC President, presented the players with their caps. Those receiving their caps were:

Georgia Bentley – Cap 1 (First Ealing Ladies Captain 2015)
Mia Hobbs – Cap 21
Catherine Pearce – Cap 24 (Ladies Captain 2019, 2024)
Sally Reid – Cap 36
Tammy O’Connell – Cap 37 (Former Head of Women and Girls)
Lizzie Williams – Cap 38 (Ladies Captain 2022, 2023)
Emily Norris – Cap 40
Pia Kemppi – Cap 44

The Ladies also presented Marie Holt with a special cap as a recognition of her efforts in founding girls’ cricket at Ealing, and her continued support of the team over the years. Her son, in-coming Chairman David Holt, presented it to her on behalf of the team.

In recognition of his contribution to the team, the Ladies also presented James Grigg with an Ealing cap. James founded the Ladies team in 2015, taking them to their first league win in the same year as manager, and has continued to contribute to the team over and above all expectations. The ladies are very grateful for all the hard work James put into the team in his many years at Ealing.
