Ealing CC Girls U13 emerge as Middlesex County Cup Champions 2023

Ealing CC Girls U13 team competed in the Middlesex County Cup Final. To reach this stage, the team overcame Richmond, Actonians, and Harrow, setting the stage for an exciting final showdown with North Middlesex CC.

Under the scorching morning sun, Ealing CC won the toss and elected to bat. They delivered a remarkable batting performance, amassing a total of 119 runs, with a strong middle-order 86-run partnership between Lilly and Manpreet. Building on this strong foundation, our bowlers displayed exceptional prowess, delivering 9 maiden overs and showcasing superb fielding and catching skills. In the end, North Middlesex CC were bowled out for a mere 19 runs after 14.1 overs, resulting in a resounding victory margin of 100 runs and being crowned Middlesex Girls U13 County Cup Champions 2023.

This victory serves as a fitting conclusion to what has truly been an outstanding season for our U13 girls. Notably, they were recently also crowned Middlesex County League Cup Champions and achieved Runner-Up status in the Southern Counties Finals.
