U9A v South Hampstead

It was another beautiful British summer day and the Spirits of the ECC boys were running high from the previous win..

Captain Stan and Chris opened the batting for ECC and started scoring runs comfortably.. The duo put on a good opening pair total with flurry of boundaries.. Next Johnny and Harry took over scoring runs and took the team to the half mark of the total score.Faisan and Zak did play their part and got in the runs for the team..Adam and Neil then went into the middle with careful approach in the beginning and taking singles and couples.. Adam then finished the pairs allotted overs with couple of boundaries..The final pair of Chris and Ronit batted brilliantly and finished batting with score board reading a healthy total of 278...

ECC’s bowling was started by a very confident fast bowling Neil finishing the first over with just one run and a wicket. Zak then took over and also got a wicket and finished his over economically.
Rest of the ECC players bowled brilliantly and never gave the opposing team much opportunities to score runs and instead were taking wickets at regular intervals..In the end ECC boys won the match with a huge margin of 74 runs..

Kudos to the team managers and the ECC club for putting this all together and it was indeed a good game of cricket match for the players as well as the families..

Keep practising hard team ECC and keep up the winning momentum..
