In return, despite early wickets, High Wycombe’s batsmen dug in, and threatened to take the game awayg. However spells from Tom Marshall (10-1-38-1) and the spinners Ash Sivarajah (10-1-42-3) and Andy Laws (10-1-50-3) ensured that Ealing were always in the contest. A thrilling finish ensued, with Sivarajah holding his nerve to defend 6 off the last over, resulting in a 1 run win for Ealing ahead of a crucial National KO tie against Aston Rowant CC on Sunday.
