Ealing were comprehensively beaten by six wickets against Harrow St Mary's thanks to a tremendous innings by the home side's opening batsman, Shaboor who was playing his first game for the club.Set to make 212 to win in approximately 40 overs, Shaboor hit the Ealing attack to all parts of the ground, his innings of 147 containing 10 6's and 14 4's and the game was virtually over when he fell victim to Nabeel Awan in the penultimate over of the game. Some of his six hits were huge, none better than when he advanced down the track to hit Keiron Gray's leg spin almost as far beyond the boundary line as the distance to clear it. Keiron and Nabeel Awan took two wickets each, Keiron taking a wonderful caught and bowled to break the opening partnership of 122 whilst Jas Gulshan took a fine catch as short extra cover of Nabeel's bowling.

In the Ealing innings, both Sunil Wickremeratne and Keiron were out by the time that the score had reached 32. Glen Burrell and Nabeel Awan rebuilt the innings with a stand of 87 and after Glen had gone for 60, Gagandeep Khurana and Nabeel put on a further 69 before Nabeel fell for 63. Parth Daber joined Gangandeep and these two put on a quick 23 before the declaration came and Shaboor's onslaught began.
