Match Report

The match resulted in an easy win for Primrose Hill, but this did not reflect the performance of the Ealing girls. Primrose Hill had a star player who scored 67 runs and bowled 4 overs for just one run conceded and was the only real difference between the teams.

The Ealing girls, with only 8 players and a young team (3 of our girls were Year 4s), put up a really game performance with some gutsy batting ? the Primrose Hill star failed to take a wicket ? an improved bowling display and some excellent fielding.

The best player for Ealing was Ashani Benning, who took two wickets, both bowled with excellent deliveries, and top scored with 6 runs. Other players of note were Phoebe Daly-Jones, who had two run outs, Aisha Toussaint, who showed a lot of determination when batting, and Elsa Hardcastle who did very well in bowling her first two overs in a match.

Overall a very pleasing performance.
