Match Report

Harefield, batting first, scored 138, which belied further improved bowling and some excellent fielding from the Ealing girls.

In reply, Ealing made 100, with Molly Williams top scoring.

Although we again failed to win, many of the girls have improved considerably in the games we have played so far. And, while we are still bowling too many wides, our bowling, in particular, has progressed considerably.

The results are also possibly affected by our policy of ensuring all the girls have a decent chance to bat and bowl, a policy not always followed by our opponents.

So the girls should again feel pleased with another good performance in which they all gave 100% effort.
