Notice of the Annual General Meeting of Ealing Cricket Club
On Wednesday 24th February 2016 at 8.00 p.m.
Notice is given of the Annual General Meeting of Ealing Cricket Club to be held in the Pavilion, Corfton Road, Ealing, W5 2HS on Wednesday 24th February 2016 at 8.00 p.m.
The agenda for the meeting is as follows:
1. Apologies
2. Matters arising from the minutes of the last Annual General Meeting
3. To review the Trustees Annual Report for the year ended 30 September 2015
4. Reappointment of Trustees
0n 16 September 2015, Diana Barham resigned as a Trustee and, in accordance with clause 26.2.2 of the Articles of Association, the Trustees resolved to appoint Steven Scott as a Trustee. In accordance with clause 26.3.2 of the Articles of Association, Steve Scott offers himself for reappointment as a Trustee
In accordance with clause 26.3.1 of the Articles of Association, the following Trustees retire by rotation and offer themselves for reappointment:
i. John Poore
ii. Mark Chippendale
iii. James Grigg
iv. Martin Turner
The remaining Trustees (see list below) will continue in office and will offer themselves for reappointment at future AGMs as provided in the Articles of Association.
5. To confirm the appointment of Merchant & Co. as Examining Accountants
6. Any Other Business
If you are unable to attend the meeting, but would like to appoint another person as your proxy, you may obtain a form of proxy from the Ealing Cricket Club Website, www.ealingcc.co.uk. Click on the INFORMATION tab along the top of the page. Click on the DOCUMENTS section and then click on the 2016 AGM tab across the top of the page where the documents are available. To be valid, a form of proxy must be completed and returned to me at the Club address or by email to cricket@ealingcc.co.uk not less than 48 hours before the meeting.
