Coaching Cricket Excellence

Ealing Cricket Club works in close association with Coaching Cricket Excellence to provide comprehensive coaching and cricket services.

Coaching Cricket Excellence was established in 1998 by ex-Middlesex all rounder Peter Wellings and his team of dedicated and enthusiastic coaches. Together they provide a wide variety of projects catering for children beginning to play the game right through to adult cricketers looking to improve their existing talents.

Coaching Cricket Excellence exists to:

• Encourage all children, regardless of ability or experience, to become involved in cricket
• Offer expert, enthusiastic coaching to help all participants enjoy their cricket and realise their potential
• Enable children to become involved in the structure of the game whereupon those with sufficient talent can receive top-quality coaching and go on to represent their county and hopefully the national team
• Promote the idea that everybody involved in the game has a part to play in the cricketing future of the country
• Encourage active communication and links between schools, clubs, individuals and organisations to develop cricket
• Help children get involved in physical activity to enjoy all the personal, social and health benefits that exercise provides
• Promote the belief that cricket is alive and well in the UK
