MCB Development XI
The MCB Development XI is an evolution from the old Sunday league XIs to something with a degree of legacy attached to it, and its aims are to develop young players and prepare them for senior cricket. One of the important factors in this league is that seven players in the side must be under 21 years old.
Ealing will participate in the 2nd season of the MCB development league following its introduction in 2012. The league is played on Sundays and the matches will be 80 over matches with coloured kit and balls. The league is designed as a series of mini leagues within the county and a series of play offs culminating in a finals day towards the end of the season.
