2nd XI
The 2nd XI play in Division 1 of the Middlesex 2nd XI County Premier League.
As well as being competitive in its own right, the 2nd XI is also the shop window for any player with a desire to play for the 1st XI. The competition at ECC is vital to ensure that all teams succeed, and the 2nd XI produces more than their fair share of players to give the team selectors headaches.
In 2013 the team will again be Captained by Steve Scott. The team hopes to compete for the League title and continue the fierce competition between the seam team and the spin team in both the pre-match football games and the Wickets stats. The players will also be competing for the coveted title of most outlandish match report. Look out for these reports during 2013, you’ll be guaranteed some crackers.
