1st XI
The 1st XI play in Division 1 of the Middlesex County Premier League. The team have been the County’s most successful team in recent years having won the League for the last 7 seasons until 2011. In 2011 they also won the Barbados Cockspur National T/20 Cup.
The 1st XI over the years has produced a number of County Cricketers, including Peter Wellings, Chris Peploe and more recently Ned Eckersley left Ealing to become a Leicestershire County CC player and Oli Wilkin has a Middlesex contract whilst still representing ECC.
In 2013 the team will again be Captained by David Holt who will be in charge for his 5th season. The team hopes to compete well in the League again as well as the various cups the club enters. They will do this with a young side largely made up of ECC former Colts.
The one trophy that has eluded Ealing in its long history is the ECB National Cup, despite having appeared in 3 finals. This competition will again be a major focus point for the whole club in 2013.
